What is adc12?
ADC= Aluminum-Alloy Die Castings
ADC 12 is one style Japan Aluminium alloy casting material(JIS ADC12),ADC12 equivalent to China’s domestic aluminium alloy code YL113, and the alloy grade is YZAlSi11Cu3. America Aluminium alloy code A383; Below you can find ADC12 datasheet.

The commonly used die-casting aluminum alloy is ADC12. Due to its good die-casting properties, it is suitable for thin casting parts. Its specific features are as follows:
1. adc12 thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and cutting performance of aluminum alloy die-casting are good.
2. The aluminum alloy shrinks less, so it has good filling performance; adc12 shrinkage is 1.005.
3. The aluminum alloy has small density and high strength. The ratio of tensile strength to density is 9-15. It also keeps good when working at high temperature or low temperature. Mechanical properties.
4. Aluminum alloy has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
5. adc12 melting point is 549 °C +/-50°C

ADC 12 application
Because ADC12 has good mechanical properties, processing properties, various surface treatment methods, and good corrosion resistance characteristics, it is widely used in our daily lives, suitable for cylinder head covers, sensor brackets, covers; cylinder blocks and so on.
ADC 12 Heat Treatment
ADC12 die-casting parts are usually not heat-treated, because there are porosity inside the die-casting parts, and heat treatment will cause blistering on the surface of the product. But Low pressure die casting and Gravity die Casting can run Heat treatment, due to less porosity.
ADC 12 Surface Treatment
This is the most commonly used die-casting material. Many surface treatments are available. Electrophoresis, paint, film, Anodizing and electroplating are all OK
